TERRORIZER review of The Plague Symphony album - 7/10
The Plague Symphony
'The Black Gate'
Sometimes it's indeed true that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, and in the case of these deathgrind upstarts from Coventry this is definately the case. Blending melodic death metal riffs and classic havey metal harmonies with crushing grind sections and slamming hardcore grooves, they somehow manage to dodge the 'metalcore' tag, instead producing a sound which is more akin to being brutalised by Iron Maiden on PCP. Keep an eye out for these guys in the future. [7] IF
